🖥️ About the webinar
Do you find yourself experiencing the same conflicts, withdrawals, or misunderstandings over and over again – even though you actually long for closeness?
Often, the cause lies not in the present, but in old, unconscious patterns from childhood.
In this webinar you will learn how past experiences and emotional wounds continue to affect our partnerships today – and how you can learn to understand and change these dynamics.
Trauma-sensitive couples therapy shows ways in which old wounds can heal and new connections can be created – with yourself and the person by your side.
In the free live webinar you will learn:
❓ How old wounds unconsciously affect relationships
– and what traumatic experiences do to our brain
🏠 The metaphor of the “(trauma) house” according to Prof. Dr. Katharina Klees
– and how it helps couples break out of entrenched patterns.
👥 Transgenerational transmission of relationship patterns
– is there really any truth to it?
💔 The 5 fundamental conflicts – shadows of childhood
– how they strain partnerships and how you can act more consciously
🧘♀️ A simple exercise for self-regulation
– to remain calm and able to act in trigger situations.
Who is this webinar for?
- For couples who experience recurring conflicts or distance.
- For people who want to understand and change their relationship patterns
- For all those who feel: “Things can’t continue as they have been – I want to heal myself and my relationship.”

Feedback on the webinars

Yes, you can of course leave your camera switched off during the webinar and choose an anonymized username.
Can I participate in the webinar using only my smartphone?
Yes! To participate in the live webinar, you'll need the "Zoom" software. It's also available as a mobile app for your smartphone: zoom.us/download.

I am in a same-sex relationship. Is this webinar also suitable for me/us?
Of course!
Because the laws governing relationships apply to all forms of love relationships and partnerships.
An affair has come to light in our family, and we're in total chaos. Does the webinar even make sense in this situation?
Partly, yes. Because in the webinar you will learn the ingredients for happy relationships - and these are always important, regardless of the relationship situation.
Especially in this emotionally charged situation, we also recommend that you start our audio program "Taboo Topic: Affair" as soon as possible: www.paarbalance.de/tabuthema-affaere/
There you will find the best possible "first aid" and "step-by-step guidance" in this emotionally charged situation. Background information, predictions about expected developments, checklists, and concrete tips will help you regain control in this relationship meltdown and clarify how to move forward.
Why is the webinar offered free of charge?
Because the topic of "relationships" is something we are passionate about! Here you can find more information about us and everyone behind the PaarBalance mission: paarbalance.de/ueber-uns/
Is there any point in me participating in the webinar alone ?
Yes, absolutely!
It is a widespread misconception that a relationship can only be improved if both partners take action simultaneously.
Don't let thoughts like, "Why me again? It's someone else's turn now," hold you back.
Even if your partner isn't there, you'll leave the webinar feeling like you've done something good for yourself – and that's what matters most.
Our relationship is already at a critical juncture. Will the webinar even make a difference at this point?
Yes, because for most of our participants, the relationship is unfortunately already in deep crisis. So it's high time you finally took action!
Will the webinar be recorded?
Yes, we record the webinar and then send it anonymously (!) to all participants via email.
You will also receive the presentation slides from Dr. Justin Gastner.
Will there be an opportunity to ask questions?
Yes, at the end of the webinar you can ask questions, which we will answer personally if possible.
